CALL FOR NOMINATIONS:
SMA Communications Coordinator
Nominations are being sought for SMA Communications Coordinator. This is an Officer position appointed by the SMA Board for a three-year term. The Communications Coordinator is expected to attend the two SMA board meetings each year, held in conjunction with the SMA and the Academy of Management annual meetings, respectively. Specific duties of the Communications Coordinator include (a) compiling and distributing the newsletter and (b) coordinating with the SMA Webmaster to keep the website current.
The nominating committee is comprised of Gary Castrogiovanni (Florida Atlantic University), David Allen (University of Memphis), and Jim Combs (Florida State University). You may nominate a colleague or self-nominate. However, if nominating a colleague, you must obtain the nominee’s agreement to be nominated. A complete application will include the nominee’s vita and a letter expressing the nominee’s interest in the position.
